MAGIC MONKEY has had the privilege and honor of being selected by the City of Brussels, amongst a slew of candidates, to create a sound & light show on the Grand Place during the winter holiday season for the sixth time this past winter. 

 

About the Grand Place:

The Grand Place is the central square of Brussels in Belgium. It is surrounded by opulent guildhalls and two larger edifices, the City’s Town Hall, and the King's House building. The square measures 68 by 110 metres (223 by 361 ft), it is the most important tourist destination and most memorable landmark in Brussels. It is also considered as one of the most beautiful squares in the World, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.

 

About the attendance this past winter:

3,386,455 spectators this year over the course of the six weeks’ event, of which 2,264,066 Belgians (1,367,797 from Brussels and 896,269 from other Regions) and 1,122,389 foreign visitors.
